SCARAB and McCreath Taylor Deliver Four New Sweepers to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council

The SCARAB team - in partnership with our longstanding dealer for Northern Ireland, McCreath Taylor - is delighted to hand over four brand-new truck-mounted road sweepers to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. These Maven 65 sweepers are the latest additions to the customer’s fleet and will help them meet their cleansing targets across their large, 514 square mile, land area.

The Maven 65’s large 6.5 cubic metre hopper capacity is perfect for extended on-station time and means the operators can work on the job for longer, without having to return to base to empty the hopper frequently. Likewise, the high-speed fan, included as standard on these machines, makes debris collection easy in any environment. Its twin-engine configuration was favored by the operators, some of which have been driving SCARAB sweepers for over 20 years.

The handover was completed by members of the McCreath Taylor and SCARAB teams during the most recent Machine Roadshow, which took place in locations across Belfast. Speaking on the handover, Simon Stringer (UK Sales Manager, SCARAB) said: “We are delighted to deliver these latest machines to ABC.
