The Merlin 62 is one of Scarab's most sought-after models due to its flexible configuration and ability to deliver outstanding performance across a wide range of sweeping applications. Now available as unidrive skid unit for some markets, the possibility of exporting Scarab's renowned single-engine platform is already proving to be a popular solution.
The first Scarab Merlin U62 skid units have been mounted in Canada for delivery to the City of Calgary. In collaboration with our partner Cubex Equipment, these machines are the first single-engine Merlin 62 skid units of their kind and have been mounted to International chassis'. Our unidrive solution uses a Power Take-Off (PTO) fitted to the truck engine to power sweeping functions. The result? Optimum sweeping performance with the single-engine advantages of reduced fuel consumption, decreased engine emissions, greater payload and reduced maintenance.
Scarab works closely with our partner in Canada, Cubex Equipment, to deliver high-performance truck-mounted sweeping solutions to the country.
