The SCARAB team is delighted to deliver 10 brand-new sweepers to Newham Council to replace their full fleet of road cleansing vehicles. The handover was accompanied by comprehensive operator training for all of the local authority’s road sweeper operatives.

The fleet replacement consists of a mix of sweepers available from Scarab Sweepers in the United Kingdom - the Magnum 72, the RAVO R2, and the RAVO R1.

The R1 is a sub-compact sweeper which is ideal for pavements and pedestrianised areas. It is a dedicated sweeping platform which means it is designed to deliver exceptional suction and sweeping performance. The R2 is a powerhouse compact sweeper which thrives in any urban environment and features a unique brush deployment to reach areas inaccessible to others. While the single engine Magnum 72 is one of SCARAB’s trusted truck-mounted sweepers, which will help the local authority with daily tasks thanks to its payload advantage and reduced engine emissions.
